Homemade Deodorant Without Baking Soda

Homemade Deodorant Without Baking Soda

There was always something so luxurious and the ultimate in skin pampering about a dusting powder. Coconut oil may help prevent heart disease and high blood pressure due to its effects on cholesterol, and also seems to have digestive benefits (through its effects on gut bacteria) and inflammation-lowering effects (through its high levels of antioxidants).

If you notice foul body odors after using a spray or a stick, consider switching to a deodorant-containing antiperspirant. You can really get creative with this part, but remember to always use at least 5 drops of tea tree oil in each batch. If you're going to store the homemade version in a jar then the beeswax could probably be left out. I absolutely LOVE this homemade deodorant because it helps with sweating, and keeps you smelling really sweet.

I either travel with the deo in a cooler, upright and in a plastic bag in a side pocket of my luggage, OR I just use my MadeOn lotion bar and a bit of baking soda patted on manually. I followed the deodorant recepie but I instead of 3 tablespoons of baking soda I used 1 and 2 zinc oxide non-nano. I used a similar recipe but added a bit of beeswax and poured the liquid mixture into an empty deoderant tube.

I am desperate for a homemade deodorant without baking soda deodorant that will work but not burn me. Every homemade recipe I have found calls for the baking soda and/or cornstarch or arrowroot. What I will say is that I haven't had problems with excessive sweating from the armpit area lately, but I have no idea if it has anything to do with this deodorant. If you want to be able to find a natural deodorant that is good for your skin, you should talk to a licensed dermatologist.

To avoid having any issues, you can either use a fraccionated coconut oil, which doesn't solidify, or use a little less beeswax when you make your winter batches with regular" coconut oil. I would heat the beeswax and shea butter, then the coconut oil, then the first deodorant you made, then the powdered ingredients.
